Something strange is going on and we literally mean it. In 2016, a weather reporter thought she’d risk it for her viewers and give a live report outside as Storm Gertrude moved through the beach at Barry Island.

The weather reporter, who is actually a video blogger named Aimee, was speaking directly to the camera in the Welsh town of Barry, when she suddenly got hit in the face with a fish!
She managed to say, “I’m here on the beach of Barry Island and there’s no sign of…” before the fish smacked her right in the face.

Although many people have wondered how real the video is.
One viewer wrote, “Look closely at the reporter’s fish video, you can clearly see it has been cleaned and gutted.”
The flying fish video was posted by “King-It” duo Aimee and Craig on their YouTube channel.
The video has reached viral video status. Even Aimee told Wales Online, “It’s gone crazy.” “With Storm Gertrude trending on social media, it’s been quite popular and people are loving it.”
More than 2 million people have seen the video on Facebook since it was first posted.
